Thank you Drew and Angela for the photos highlighting B and my wedding invitations. I will share the engagement photos later in time, but for now...
Our wedding inviations!!
Nothing has ever come easier for me to design. I thought designing my own invitations would be the hardest thing I ever would design. It all started so smoothly when I found vintage postcards of Salida, Colorado on e-bay. I was lucky enough to find a postcard of the Angel of Antero. This is the exact view of the mountains we will see from the front lawn of our beautiful wedding location! (The River Run Inn) From there everything just fell into place.
More to come...
It has been a while since I posted! Brian and I pushed our wedding from early fall to late summer and I have been busy making decisions. A wedding is really hard to plan, FYI! Some decisions I have been second guessing myself, but the thing I know and certain of, is our wedding will be relaxed. No suits required at our wedding! It will be too damn hot!
Brian and I have picked a location, a menu, a live band, and many other major tasks. I designed our wedding website, working on the paper invites, and searching for an officiant to tie us together. With all the major decisions made, Brian and I can finally enjoy our engagement...well maybe after I get the invites out in the mail! We are almost home free.
Oh ya. The photo above is one of the vintage postcards of Salida, CO. I have been searching eBay daily gathering vintage Colorado postcards to include in our invitations as RSVPs.

Ha. I had to step in as model for a quick photo shoot at work. I am not sure they will ask me to do that again, unless in desperate measures. I will keep my day job sitting behind the computer.
Last weekend I ran away to Phx for 48 hours to see visit pieces of my heart. I have 3 best friends that live in Phx. They showed me a great time, as they always do.
Here are some of the new places they showed me:
The Farm at South Mountain
If you lived with me, you know that I am collector of paint swatches. Boyfriend and I just finished a total revival of our kitchen and paint chips were spread all over our dinning room table. We would feel right at home with these placemats.
They are found right here.
***Thanks Aunt Mimi!! I will use them when I don't have chips covering my table to make it feel like home***
What a privileged wedding invitation designer I am to work with this magnificent bride. She is a friend of a best friend that passed along my name. From the start she was organized and made my job easy. She created a mood board in pinterest and pushed me along my way from the start. I had visions of this wedding and it is much more beautiful that I would have ever imagined.
Congratulations Lauryn and Tyler! You are beautiful and lovely people. I wish you a bright future.
